The NightRaid Network!
A story-rich roleplay community hosted by a passionate organization: NightRaid. We run weekly events with a distinctly Far Eastern aesthetic and subtle Western influences, blending combat, supernatural themes, social gatherings, and storytelling in one cohesive world. With headquarters serving as a bounty center and a supernatural investigations office, part of our narratives explore odd jobs, folklore, and the spiritual unknown.

The NightRaid Order
The order is a group within the network that operates as a field-based, mission-driven organization that steps in when situations fall outside the reach.. or patience.. of conventional authority. Some call it necessary intervention. Others call it controlled chaos. The Order doesn’t concern itself much with either label!Through missions, investigations, training exercises, and character-driven storytelling, members grow into their roles and learn how to operate within a system that values results over appearances!
if you wish to join the order, seek out the book posted in headquarters...

Hunts & Stories...
The Network regularly hosts a variety of hunts and unfolding storylines each month, giving members plenty of chances to jump into the action. Elite hunts are usually led by a designated hunt lead or another trusted member of the Network, and often center around thrilling combat encounters, high-stakes moments, and group coordination. In many cases, members can even pitch their own storylines to be featured as elite hunts, turning their ideas into interactive experiences the whole community can take part in and enjoy together.

The Nightraid Order
Missions • Investigations • Training
When a problem falls outside the reach of conventional authority, the Order steps in. Members take on missions, investigations, and dangerous fieldwork while growing through ongoing stories, training, and the consequences of the choices they make.
What is the "order"?
The NightRaid Order is a focused group within the Network built around fieldwork, missions, investigations, and collaborative storytelling. Members take on dangerous or unusual situations together, following leads, making choices, and helping shape how ongoing operations unfold.
Choose your path
Every operative has their own way of getting the job done. Choose a Path that reflects your character’s strengths and specialties, then grow into it through missions, training, and experience in the field.
KARYŪDŌ
SEKKŌ
SPIRITUALIST
SHUGASHŌ
| Path | operation | Description |
|---|---|---|
| KARYŪDŌ | Track. Hunt. Pursue. | Field operatives specializing in tracking, monster hunting, pursuit, and survival beyond the beaten path. |
| SEKKŌ | Go where you weren’t invited. | Operatives focused on reconnaissance, stealth, infiltration, deception, and gathering information unnoticed. |
| SPIRITUALIST | When the problem isn’t entirely mortal. | Spiritual specialists trained to handle curses, yokai, wards, hauntings, and other aetheric threats. |
| SHUGASHŌ | Make sure everyone comes home. | Defensive operatives who protect the team through support, field aid, interception, and holding the line. |
Ranking and progression are determined by a character's mission completions, involvement in storylines, and brief training sessions. Each operative who wishes to rank up is welcome to seek promotion once they have completed a set of missions.
Each character has the option to make a 'field card' with us: a character card with special modifiers unique to themselves, utilized in the field with our community combat system.

in-game rp
Best for live, moment-to-moment operations where everyone can react together in real time. Expect combat encounters, exploration, scouting, briefings, investigations, training, social scenes, and larger group missions hosted directly in FFXIV.
discord rp
Better suited for slower or more detailed scenes that benefit from extra time and flexibility. Discord missions may focus on investigations, smaller teams, private conversations, written reports, stealth work, character development, and operations that are easier to schedule asynchronously.
